We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2023, at the age of 85, Janet C. Smith of Clarion, Pennsylvania, born in Sligo, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred McKinney and Edna Smith McKinney; her son Greg Smith; and her sister Pat Mong. She is survived by: her husband Darrell D. Smith; her children, Mike Smith (Kim) of Strattanville and Sherri Lawrence (John) of Clarion; her grandchildren, Megan Smith Steele of South Carolina, Adrianne Kurtz (Isaac) of West Virginia and Kaleb Smith (Nicole) of New York; her great grandchildren, Grace Steele and Lily Kurtz; her siblings, Sandra Rogers of Chicora, Dave McKinney (Michele) of Parker and Dennis McKinney (Betty Jo) of Sligo; and also, Janet, Darrell and Deb Slaugenhaupt.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Janet's memory to the Clarion/Forest VNA Hospice, 271 Perkins Road, Clarion, PA 16214.
