It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Averill of Clarion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Sanford "Sam" Averill; his half-sisters, Patricia Savino and Beverly Doane; and his nephew David Betton. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Averill (Curulla); and his half-brother William Averill (Barb) of Reynoldsville, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adamson Funeral Chapel (1312 Chestnut Ave, DuBois, PA 15801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
