He was predeceased by: his sons, Joseph and William. He is survived by: his parents, Anna Sr. and Gordon J. Rice Sr.; his wife Dorothy Reinsel Rice; his daughters, Sherrie Smith (Brad) of Franklin, WI, Mary Jean Bagileo (Nick) of Laurel, MD and Kathleen McElravy (Rob) of Shippenville; and his sisters, Jeanne Paff (Fran) of Newburgh, NY and Arlene Speerbrecher of Sagamore Hills, OH..

Memorial donations may be made to the Clarion County YMCA or the Immaculate Conception School.
