He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Foster and Viola Mae Garris Foster; his brothers, James R. Foster and William C. Foster; and his parents-in-law, Don and Edith Deitz.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Deitz; his children, James R. Foster of Clarion and Bridgette Thompson (Brian) of Corsica; his grandchildren, Haydin Foster and Brexleigh; and his siblings, Kenneth Foster of Chicora and Martha Craig (Doyle) of Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
