She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay L. Collett and Ada I. Carberry Collett; her husband William D. Hays; and her siblings, Lois Smith, Robert Collett, Sr., George Collett and Victor Collett.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Hays (Bobbi) of Inman, S. C. and Gregory Hays (Carol) of McConnellsburg; her grandchildren, Misty, Alicia and Timothy Jr.; her stepgrandson Charles Barber; her great grandchildren, Owen, Bennett Hays, Leo, Wes and Jax Barber; and her sisters, Bonnie Hoover of New Bethlehem and Margaret "Peg" Emrick of Elk City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
