It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lee Alkire (Clarion, Pennsylvania), born in Junior, West Virginia, who passed away on November 11, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald C. Alkire; and her brothers, Norman R. Arbogast, Paul E. Arbogast, Dema Lipscomb and Leon Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her parents, George Arbogast and Opal Arbogast (Bennett); her children, Gary Alkire (Rebecca) of Salem, OH, Brenda Todd of Raleigh, NC and Donna Cavaliere (Rick) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Erika Todd, Shane Todd, Cameron Todd and Nicole Cavaliere; and her siblings-in-law, Genevieve Arbogast of Belington, WV, Barbara Hunt (Preston) of Carrollton, TX and Stephen Lipscomb (Patty) of Spotsylvania, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that any memorial donations be made to Clarion Cemetery Association.
