She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Flanders and Alice B. Johnston Flanders; and her son Gary Brubaker. She is survived by: her significant other Thomas Howe of Miola; her children, Karen DeLoia (Tony) of Treasure Lake and Kevin Brubaker of DuBois; her brother Kenneth "Bud" Flanders, Jr.; and her wife Beverly of DuBois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, a great granddaughter.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to a Cancer Charity of one's choice.
