He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair Rankin and Evelyn Rankin (Adams); his fiancée Cathy; his daughter Angie Baker; and his siblings, Tom Rankin, Denise Flowers, Kenneth Rankin and Francis "Bim" Rankin.
He is survived by: his sister Luann Boozer (Ed) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Kiersten Baker and Garrett Fissel; and his close friends, Shona Baker and Randy Thornsberry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
