He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Affrica and Elizabeth Greenawalt Affrica; and his son Ryan Showers. He is survived by: his children, Rod Showers (Barbara Juchno) of Erie and Jennifer Ireland (Mike); his grandchildren, Jordan Stock and Rachel Duvall (Ryan); his great grandchild Abel of Stephens City, VA; his brother Lewis Affrica; and his friend Terry Stiglitz.
