He was predeceased by: his father James McClafferty; his close friend Beverly Uline; his daughter Mary Louise Kiggins; and his brother James C. McClafferty. He is survived by: his children, David McClafferty, Jr. (Jennifer), Debbie Csongedi (Erik) and Michele Bankosh (Tom); and his grandchildren, Alaina Borra, Lauren McClafferty, Chayse, Drevin Csongedi, Olivia and Sophia Bankosh.
