He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ocepek and Mary Ocepek of Claridge; his wife Wilma Ocepek (Rizzardi); his son Mark Ocepek; his granddaughter Claire Geraghty; his children, Andrea Ocepek Geraghty, Karl Ocepek (Marcy Hessinger), Jon Ocepek (Margaret), Thomas Ocepek (Louise Snyder) and Renee Ocepek Parsley (Jesse); and his grandchildren, Ryan Geraghty, Anton, Marc Ocepek, Erin, David, Mary Ocepek, Sarah and Morgan Parsley. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Dr, Delmont, PA 15626.
