He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brink and Eldora Brink; his siblings, James, Richard, Alan Brink and Mary Quiggle; and his grandson Alex Werick.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Shaffer Brink; and his children, Stephen Brink of Clarendon and Jennifer Shaffer of Clarendon Heights. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
