She was predeceased by: her parents, Teofil Szelong and Anna Lesniewski Szelong; her husband Clarence "Cubby" Soforic; and her son-in-law Don Gerstner. She is survived by: her siblings, Edward, Anthony, Walter "Ziggy", Raymond Szelong, Frances Kost, Stella Szczerbinski and Genevieve Hohol; her daughters, Patty Gerstner Berta (Mark) and Donna Kolberg (Bill); and her granddaughter Vanessa Kolberg Valerio (Nick). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 P. M. Tuesday in the funeral home. Those attending the viewing and mass are encouraged to wear masks but they are not required.
