Kimberly S. Murnyack Obituary
Kimberly S. "Kim" Murnyack, 50, of Clarence, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Geisinger Medical Center. Born on February 12, 1973, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Ray A. and Susan J. (Koleno) Fye, Sr. On June 3, 2006, in Snow Shoe, she married Michael R. Murnyack, Jr. who survives at home.
Kim was a 1991 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School and was the valedictorian for her class. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996. She was employed as an Engineer for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Agency.
Kim was a very giving person, and you could always count on her to help with whatever she could. She loved all animals and wanted to bring home all strays. She was especially fond of dogs and was a long and dedicated breeder of Shiloh Shepherds. She enjoyed planting flower and vegetable gardens and playing volleyball.
Kim was active in the Clarence Women's Club and the Clarence American Legion Auxiliary. With everything Kim was passionate about, that all took the back seat when her son, Ethan, was born. He was her angel and knight in shining armor. Kim will be missed by so many, but know this, she is watching out for all of us and will give help from above to those who need it.
Kim is survived by her husband, Mike, her loving son, Ethan; sister, Pamela Koleno and her husband, Terry, of Clarence; and two brothers: Raymond Fye, Jr and his wife, Patty, of Pioneer CA and Ronald Fye of Bellefonte.
Kim is also survived by her mother in-law and father in-law: Sandi and Mickey Murnyack; two brothers in-law: Eric Murnyack and his wife, Laura, and Jared Murnyack and his wife, Hope, all of Clarence, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a Rosary at 7:45pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W. Sycamore St. Snow Shoe. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 11am, at the Queen of Archangels Parish Church, 102 Church St. Clarence, PA with Father Michael Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow Mass at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Clarence.
