He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Mathews and Jane Mathews (Tulius). He is survived by: his wife Helen Mathews (Demchak); his children, Beth Kimball (Doug) of Glassport and Ryan Mathews of Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Michelle Picard (Kenny) and Amber Kimball.
