It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Elkowitz (Clairton, Pennsylvania), born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 21, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael "Mate' and Katherine Papucic (Runatz); and her siblings, Ann Martin and Michael Papucic. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Elkowitz; her children, Michael Mursch (Darlene) of West Mifflin, Jamie Elkowitz (Sarah) of Jefferson Hills and Shaun Elkowitz (Jessica Bartko) of Clairton; her grandchildren, Marissa Mursch, Holly, Ally, Essy Elkowitz, Krista Hajiyev and Allyn Fenwick; her great grandchildren, Marley Graham, Jayla, Aydin Hajiyev, Maylanna and A. J. Fenwick; and her niece Michelle Tevis.
