It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gustave Michaels of Clairton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Georganna Michaels; his parents, Anna Mae (Bach) and Gustave Michaels; and his brothers, John and Ronald Michaels.
He is survived by: his children, Roberta Sloan (Edson) of Clairton, Cynthia Lukens of Clairton, Joy Gindlesperger (Robert) of Clairton, Julia Massaro of Clairton and Butch Michaels of Clairton; his grandchildren, Edward Sloan (Marcy) of Clairton, Jimbo Lukens (Heather) of Brentwood, Thomas Gindlesperger of Clairton, Louise Florenz of Clairton, Scott Gindlesperger (Rachel) of Elizabeth, Buffy Sloan (Matt) of West Mifflin and Justin Massaro (Harley) of Clairton; his sister Lucille Blake of Clairton; and his sister-in-law Bernadette Michaels of Levittown. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
