With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne Zollars Forbes (Clairton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 9, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph P. Leis and Cecelia Leis (Clark); her husbands, James Zollars and Donald Forbes; her brothers, J. Clark and Jack Leis; and her stepson James Forbes.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Thomas (Robert) of Elizabeth Twp and Richard Zollars (Janice) of Bethel Park; her stepdaughter Cheryl Lebeda (James) of Glassport; her stepdaughter-in-law Diane Forbes of Ormond Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Gentry, Scott Thomas (Jennifer), Kelly Byers (Steve) and Christopher Thomas (Kim); her great grandchildren, Zachary, Lindsey, Sydney Thomas, Julia and Josh Byers; and her brother William Leis (Marilyn) of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
