She was predeceased by: her parents, David A. Brown and Virgie M. Brown (Haywood); her husbands, William D. Alderson, Sr. and Daniel A. Cochran, Sr.; her son Robert Alderson; her grandson Joseph W. Bartolomeo; and her siblings, David C. Brown and Lily Walter.
She is survived by: her children, William Alderson, Jr. (late Sharon) of Midland, MI, Donna Jean Bartolomeo (late Joseph) of Cape Coral, FL, David G. Alderson (Danette) of Jefferson Hills, Janine Larsen (Gary) of Rutledge, TN and Jonette Emsurak (Paul) of Elizabeth Twp; and her grandchildren, Tina (Chad), Jason (Wendy), Tammy, Todd, David Jr. (Jacquie), Ryan (Jackie), Nathan, Emily and Paul Jr.. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Bekavac Funeral Home (555 N 5th St, Clairton, PA 15025). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Park (401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236).
