He is survived by: his children, Traci Dinwiddie (Chris) of Clairton, William Gates of McKeesport, Debora Escobar of Clairton and Lisa Gates of Turtle Creek; and his grandchildren, Christine, Chase, Ashley Gonzalez, Nicole Mills, Jeremy Troxel, Heather Gates and Charlene Gates-Coffman. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
