It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis R. Ervin (Clairton, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ervin and Elizabeth Louise Ervin (Eves); and his grandson Matthew Morgan. He is survived by: his partner Shirley Smorey; his children, Dennis Smorey of West Elizabeth, Shawn Ervin (Stephanie) of Penn Hills, Shannon Morgan (Howard) of Rostraver and Danette Aber (Donald) of West Elizabeth; his brothers, Glenn Ervin (Kathy) of Claridge and Scott Ervin of South Carolina; and his pet MinMin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
