He was predeceased by: his father Edward Brown. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann McDowell (Warnick); and his son Jacob McDowell of Versailles. He is also survived by siblings, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
