He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Edwards and Edward. He is survived by: his son Lance Mattes (Judy) of Bethel; his granddaughter Ashley Mattes; and his sisters, Donna Kettish of Orlando Florida and Karen Dowd (Jeff) of Orlando Florida.
