He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Canning and Kathleen Canning. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Crilley Canning; his children, Megan Herman (Tom), Lauren Skowronski (Travis) and Thomas Canning (Lauren); his grandchildren, Julia, Addison, Luke, Avery, Ryan, Aubrey and Charlotte; and his siblings, Mary Hillock (Joseph), Maureen Wheeler (Edmund), Charles Canning (Patricia), Karen Delaney (Thomas) and Kathleen McGeever (Mark). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
