He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. McGinty and Alma Berry McGinty; and his sibling Francis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Blaszczyk McGinty; his siblings, Maureen and James; his children, Meghan Betham (John), Kevin McGinty (Melinda), Cristin McGinty (Dave Pileggi) and Bridget McGinty (Bill Weiland); and his grandchildren, John, Ethan, Abigale and Raine. He is also survived by wife, children, and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society at 1626 Locust Street in Philadelphia, PA 19103.
