He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph S. Madeline Sr. and Claire Izzi Madeline; his wife Carol J. Wenke Madeline; his grandchildren, Allison, Lindsay, Ricky Klenk, Connor, Declan, Ryleigh McCahill, Joey, David and Scarlett Storey; and his siblings, Josephine "Lolly" Schussler (Peter) and Claire Nicholson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
