He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. and Anna (Casey); and his siblings, John (Jack), Joseph, Walter, RitaAnne Gordon and Annemarie Schlimer.
He is survived by: his children, James Jr. (Diana), Christine Schneider (Michael), Margot Briggs (David), Carl (Christine) and Laura Duimering (Brent). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
