Umble of Christiana, Pennsylvania, born in Gap, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. Umble and Susan P. Smoker Umble; his grandson Matthew David Verdegem; and his siblings, Earl Umble, Mildred Kennel and Harold Umble.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Landes Umble; and his children, Vernon D. (Lois Lefever Umble) of Christiana, Sue (Vince Verdegem) of Denver, Kathy L. (Terry Myers) of Christiana, Lori A. (Kenley Coward) of Birmingham, AL and Maerine "Peachie" Dinkins of Bronx, NY.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one bonus grandson.
