He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy McLaughlin and Ethel McCreary McLaughlin; his son Ronald Patrick McLaughlin; his close friends, Kimberly Smoker Schwartzer of Christiana, Cindy Lee McLaughlin, Doug Rehm of New Providence and Michael (Michele Lutz McLaughlin) of Lancaster; and his siblings, Ted (Joanne McLaughlin) of Coatesville, Roy "Jack" McLaughlin, Elaine "Sissy" Walpole and Alice "Babe" Salitrynski. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
