He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Bobbit Alston and Benjamin Frank Alston; his sibling Coreena "Grace" Alston; his wife Muriel "Tassie" Stevenson Alston; and his children, Kevin Stevenson and Karen "Missy" Stevenson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Diane Martin, Caroline Green, Earlene Turner and Wardell Alston. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifetime family and friends.
