He was predeceased by: his parents, Hannah Opdenaker (Boyle) and Matthew J. Opdenaker; his son Joseph G. Opdenaker; and his brothers, Matthew, Albert, Joseph, John and William.
He is survived by: his children, Mick Opdenaker (Patti) of Aston, Bob Opdenaker (Liz) of Wilmington, Del, Steve Opdenaker (Lisa) of Parkesburg, Jim Opdenaker (Chris) of Quarryville, Dan Opdenaker (Sue) of Mohrsville, Mary Pryor (Bob) of Atglen and Diane Kay (Mike Sr.) of Manheim. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
