It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Marie Wee of Chicora, Pennsylvania, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff Phillips and Fern Phillips (Hatcher); her significant other Don; her son Joe; and her siblings, Helen Phillips, Grace Noel (Phillips), Lois Putnam (Phillips) and Wayne Phillips.
She is survived by: her sons, James L. Wee (Beth) of New Orleans, LA and John A. Wee (Luanne) of Parker, PA; her daughter-in-law Judy Constans of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Ryan C. Wee, Kirsten E. Wee and Alaina F. Whitmire (Adrian); and her great grandchild Landon M. Whitmire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
