He was predeceased by: his son Thomas C. Schneider III; and his sister Mary Jo Fitler. He is survived by: his daughters, Betsy Charney (Bob) of Clarks Summit, PA, Nikki Lowe (Ron) of Tunkhannock, PA and Jennifer Kearney of Clarks Summit, PA; and his significant other Anne Pistorius of Chicora. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
