He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron "B. L." Pennington and Olive Lewis Pennington; his wife Glenda Johns Pennington; and his siblings, Paul, Earl Pennington, Gladys Younkins and Darlene Umbaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Darla D. Anthony (Bryce) of Butler, Dana L. Flick (Jamie) of Butler and Todd R. Pennington of Butler; his grandchildren, Jordan Anthony, Matthew Anthony, Sarah Brendlinger (Kyle), Emily Gove (Nathan) and Carissa Pennington; and his great grandchildren, Evelina, Addley and Camri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
