He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Snyder Shields Sr. and Evelyn Iona Shields Carben (Porter). He is survived by: his spouse Michele; his children, Terry M. Shields (Stacey Warren) of Chicora, PA and Lynndee Shields of Chicora, PA; his grandchild Ashlee N. Shields; his godson Aron Wulff; his sister Christine A. Baughey of Adiran, MI; and his brother-in-law Michael Baughey of Adrian, MI.
