He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver G. Hile and Grace McElravy Hile; his wife Kay Bowser Hile; his brothers, William J. "Bill" Hile and Barry L. Hile; his sister-in-law Lucy Dollar; and his in-laws, Reverend George and Doretha Bowser.
He is survived by: his daughter Tamara; his parents-in-law, Reverend George and Doretha Bowser; his children, Tammy (Charlie Croyle), Bishop Robert Hile Jr. (Bonnie Hile) of Parker and Cindy (Dan "Boone" Ekis); his grandchildren, Justin, Lacey Croyle, Totiana, Robert III, Adam, Aberia Hile, DJ and Shalisa Ekis; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Hile of Chicora, Darlene, Reverend William Foley of Virginia, Sonia and Kurt Stang of Apollo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora (339 Chicora Fenelton Rd, Chicora, PA 16025). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Chicora and Bradys Bend American Legion. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora (339 Chicora Fenelton Rd, Chicora, PA 16025).
