She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Appleton; and her brother Bob McNany (Rita) of Butler. She is survived by: her son Michael Thornton (Lisa) of Karns City; and her siblings, Len McNany of Chicora, Pamela Cashmere of East Brady and Norma Emerick of Quarryville Pa. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; along with three nephews and two nieces.
