He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald MacKrell and Geraldine Eyth MacKrell; his son Garry P. MacKrell; his siblings, Robert "Bob" MacKrell, Richard MacKrell, Cindy Wilson and Joanne Hicks; his daughter-in-law Patty Semes MacKrell; and his parents-in-law, John and Mary Leech Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Valjean A. Lucas MacKrell; his sons, Terry J. MacKrell (MaryAnn) and Barry A. MacKrell (Amy C.) of Chicora; his grandchildren, Riley M. MacKrell of Chicora, Wyatt J. MacKrell of Chicora and Cody M. MacKrell of Chicora; and his sister Kathy Rodgers (John) of Tionesta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
