It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Joan (Leitem) Covert (Chicora, Pennsylvania), born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leitem and Genevieve Brandt Leitem; and her siblings, John Leitem (Jack), David Leitem, Leo Leitem and Catherine Fallen.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas A. Covert of Chicora; her children, John Covert (Rita) of Eau Claire, Benjamin Covert (Leasa) of Chicora, Bernard Covert (Jody) of Chicora and Nadine Neff (James) of Chicora; and her siblings, Francis Leitem (Hope) of Linesville, Hilda Melchert (Harvey) of Plumboro and Rose Steighner (Thomas) of Chicora. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
