It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel M. Jewart of Chicora, Pennsylvania, born in Buena Vista, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy C. Ellenberger and Olive Ellenberger (Goldinger); her husband Charles Ross Jewart; and her sisters, Lola Ellenberger, Gladys Masino, Margaret Crawley and Jeannette Garing.
She is survived by: her children, John Jewart (MaryAnne) of Nokesville, VA, David Jewart of Butler, PA, James Jewart of Chicora, PA, Deborah Markiw (Michael II) of West Sunbury, PA and Sherri McCarty (Scott) of Ellwood City, PA; her grandchildren, Michael Markiw III (Kimberly), Megan Markiw (Samuel Mason), Charles Jewart, Beatrice Jewart, Lindsey Jewart, Tristian Jewart Clark (Brad), Jared Jewart, Lauren Jewart, Sarah McCarty, Kevin McCarty (Amanda) and Colleen McCarty; and her great grandchildren, Melanie, Natalie, AmyAnne, Lillian, Thomas, Carter, Kallie and Tanner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As a request of the family, face masks are required for the visitation and the service.
