He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel E. Surrena and Jean Titus Surrena. He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Umstead Surrena; his children, Debbie L. Steele (Rick) of Chicora, Denise M. Young (Walter) of Chicora and David W. Surrena (Sue) of Chicora; his brother Robert Surrena of Mesa, AZ; and his grandchildren, R. Bruce Steele (Jessica), Serina Steele-Haller, Rebecca Ostrzeniec (Mark), Joshua Young (Jessica), Heather West (Patrick), Sarah Roudebush (Kyle), Megan Wiley (Jon) and Dillan Surrena (Autumn). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, as well as a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
