She was predeceased by: her parents, James Slater and Frances Slater (Bowser); her husband John L. "Benny" Benson; and her brother James Slater. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Benson (Danielle) of Waynesburg and Brian Benson (Charmaine) of Hooker; her grandsons, Parker and Matthew; and her brother Russell Slater of Meridian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
