It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Matisz of Cheswick, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin John Matisz and Carolina Rose Dunaj; his wife Janet; his son Stephen Matisz; and his daughter-in-law Susan Matisz.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Matisz, Douglas Matisz of Springdale and Mark Matisz (Shelia) of Cheswick; and his daughter-in-law Karen Matisz of Cheswick. He is also survived by grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
