It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Jeter-Pendleton (Cheswick, Pennsylvania), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jeter and Edna Jeter Thompson (Wilks). She is survived by: her children, Marzett Geter, Lisa Betts, Dameyonne Geter, Nanci Wellons and Melvina Hawkins-Patterson; her grandchildren, Marzett Geter Jr. Marqua Geter, Khadijah Geter, Angel Johnson, Shanette Betts, Alisha Wilson, Richard Wright Jr., Dione Wright, Areon Betts, Jewel Betts, Tashenanna Betts and Olivia Betts; and her brother Samuel Jeter.
