He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Carassanesi and Zelinda Carassanesi; and his child Casey Welch. He is survived by: his wife Hildegard Carassanesi; his sons, Nick Carassanesi (Eileen) and John H. Carassanesi; his siblings, Henrietta "Chicky" James (late Tom) and Domenic "Butch" Carassanesi (Prilla); and his niece Erica Edwards.
