He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Newell and Wanda Newell (Wyant); his brother James; and his sister-in-law Letitia Newell (Thom). He is survived by: his wife Jane Newell (Kachonik); his daughters, Linda Brown (John) and Deborah Balbo (Richard); his grandchildren, Melissa Sisco (Rider), Bridget Holmes (AJ) and Shannon Brown; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Holmes and Emmett Holmes.
