He is survived by: his mother Gina Ortoleva Schmidt of Springdale; his wife Miranda Gerg Schmidt; his son Alexander; his brother Justin Schmidt (Melinda Zott) of Arizona; his aunt Donna Irlbacher (Richard) of Pine Township; and his siblings-in-law, Mary and Daniel Sorg. He is also survived by children's sports with his son.
