He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Biernesser and Martha Lebo Biernesser; and his sisters, Geraldine and Flora Mae. He is survived by: his wife Marie Biernesser (Jones); his children, Stephen Biernesser (Dorotha) of Virginia, Ginny Conway of Virginia, Carol Shamblin of Texas and Wayne Biernesser (Kristen) of Virginia; his siblings, Mildred Frohlich of Pittsburgh and Arthur Biernesser (Eleanor) of Dorseyville; and his grandchildren, Steve Jr., Tom, Zack, Alex, Emilee and Maija. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
