He was predeceased by: his son Mark Hagelgans; his grandson Justin King; his son-in-law David King; and his sister Ruth Carter. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, John (Jajorie), Carol King and Linda Verticelli (Philip); and his grandson Drew King.
