He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Sload and Ester I. Sload; and his siblings, Lois I. Seydel, Esther Bauer (Robert) and Robert Grimsey (Paulette).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sload (Nealis); his children, William Harry "Buddy" Sload, Jr. (Alison) and Mandie Lyn Sload; his pets, Ziggy and Brandy; and his siblings, Richard Sload (Carol), John Sload (Eileen) and Mary Lee (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
